Put your hands together...

For Danica Patrick , the first woman to win a Indy race. In a sport dominated by men, she defied all odds by entering the Indy Racing scene 4 years back. Its a well deserved victory for the lady who keeps a cool head in the hot racing tracks of the Indy Car series.
Jenson Button once remarked "A girl with big boobs would never be comfortable in the car. And the mechanics wouldn't concentrate. Can you imagine strapping her in?" As he eats his words, he might find Danica racing alongside him in F1 next year.
Will Vijay Mallya stand up and take notice?

On the go

Was on a whirlwind trip to Kota, Jaipur and Delhi last week. Varun's baraat at 12 mid-noon under the hot sun was the highlight at kota with colorful turbans and the raucous band which played kaala kauwa kaat. This song was a major hit during the last days at college. We set off to Jaipur next. 3 of us landed there without a cam. The Amer fort was really good. The rest of the historic places have caught up with the urbanization around. Must be tough to keep up with the latest trends being the capital city while trying to preserve the heritage.
Next stop was Delhi. Caught up with college chums Kitwa and Dipsy after almost 4 years.Saw the much talked about malls of gurgaon. Dint enter any though. what'd be new in a mall? Rajpath was nice. Delhi metro -very impressive. Looks like all the digging going on in Bangalore for the metro is going to be worthwhile. Bought some cheap shoes at Karol Bagh.
The train journey on the way back was real fun. They served food dot on the time. The AC's there you can sleep all the time. I could have spent another 3-4 days easily in the train.
