Wimbledon...

Friday presented one of the best matches I'd have seen in a long time. The new 'ova on the block, Safarova went down fighting against 4th seed Jankovic. The way she's been playing we should see more of her in coming times.

Coming to what the females are wearing this time. The designers have done some clumsy needlework this time. You have no clue as to which's actually the inner and outer wear. You spend most of the time figuring out as to what goes in from where and comes out from where.

Sharapova's dress at this year's campaign is one of the most beautiful avatar one would ever get to see. The leggo is wearing the traditional white with some wing-like stuff at the back giving a fairy kind of a look. And the frills at the end of her skirt are like a micro wedding gown. Hope she has a fairytale ending here.

Indian hopes (do they still?) faded as Sania Mirza crashed out yet again in the second round to Petrova. I think she'd have a lot of working up to do if she's going any near to challenge the top. Else she'd have to hook up and settle for playing doubles as most of the Indian tennis fraternity have done so far. I have another idea. Maybe she should change her name to 'Saniova' and try. Worth a shot eh?

Canada Preview

All eyes will be on the Mclaren team when Canada flags off this weekend. Ron Dennis will be under immense pressure after the Monaco fiasco. strategy will be closely monitored; every pitstop.

Ferrari are keen on bouncing back into the title race. Raikkonen will be the most frustrated of the drivers. After failing to finish the last race and a string of 3rd place finishes it seems that his title chances are over. What adds to his frustration is the way Mclarens have performed this year. Massa now looks more the favorite in ferrari to compete for the title.
Will this be Hamilton's first grand prix win? Hope things have cooled down after his emotional outburst at the end of the Monaco race. Hamilton should understand he'll win a race only when Alonso fails.
