Aftermath

The news people had a lot to feast on. The front page of the times of india boasts of a few million unique visitors to its site and also many statistics on how the traffic has improved over the last 2 days, all thanks to the terror attack. It also urges people to keep visiting and keep a tab as to what's going wrong in the country.
The dead (rip) are being buried today. The rest would go back to work Monday morning.
Everyone has a story on Mumbai in these times. I remember the night when me, raju, matter, dk and msk had too many pitchers at Leopold's, hogged the kebabs at bade miyan and shot pictures at the gateway of India.
Also where is Raj Thackeray?

Shoes

I feel the same each time. But I think this one is the best pair of shoes I've ever bought.

Dostana

Dostana comes at a time when the call for abolishing article 377 gets louder by the day. But I thought it should have had a more serious tone to it than the overdone comedy Karan Johar made it into.
This production mirrors the Indian psyche regarding the gay matter and it'd still take time to put up a brave front and make a brokeback mountain.

Spain's davis cup victory adds to the wonderful year in the sporting arena for the nation. The Davis Cup has been very sweet given Nadal wasn't around and two more young guns Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco announce their presence in the top flight tennis.
The Euro success would still top my list. Then Nadal. The late surge by Fernando Alonso. The tour de france, the Olympics Basketball finals where Spain gave the US a scare. Sergio Garcia with the golf club.

But Spain still has many questions to answer concerning racism before it can be deemed a sporting great. When most of the sporting bodies are trying to unite the world against racism, incidents seen in the recent past involving spanish spectators wont be forgiven too soon or too easily.
