What's hot- Nov

Deepika Padukone- Pretty good in the first half. They take her off in the second to give king khan some space. The movie though utterly senseless on the whole is entertaining in parts. Shamefully spoof people. Gross over-acting. And Shahrukh is no king.

Diwali at home. One of the dull festivals in terms of food I think. Sticking to the traditions they say. Crackers though 3-4 years old weren't a let-off.

Its ok..

I know the girl at the bank counter smiled at you. No. She was just doing her job. It doesn't mean anything. You can feel good about it for a while but believe me she did the same to the old man who came to collect his pension cheque.

What next?

Saddening to know Alonso is leaving Mclaren. I had some hope he would stay there another year despite all the drama this year. With this goes hopes of another title for Alonso. I'm really not sure if Alonso would want to sign a long term contract with Renault. They aren't doing well now and what Alonso went out to do with Mclaren is to prove he can get out of the comfort zone and win titles with different teams. It'd be such a sad sight to see Alonso competing in the mid of the grid if he decided to opt for Redbull or Williams. But he doesn't have much of a choice. Can he hang in for another 2 years before he gets a chance to drive for a top team?.

What's fair..

The recent surge in fairness cream ads sicks me. Especially the one king Khan endorses. I don't think nowhere in the world except the subcontinent so much emphasis is given to the complexion. Its either black or white elsewhere. Its the brown skin which gives a opportunity for a multi-million dollar industry to flourish.

Having beauty and fairness products is fine but the extent to which these cos go to advertise is bad. A guy not getting a date with a girl because of his complexion is ridiculous. This is comparable to racism.
